Exciting times – The Local Business Clinic

The Computer Centre has recently become involved with a local organisation called The Local Business Clinic. We held our first meeting last night at The Station House in Burnham-on-Crouch. Paul Webb is involved as the I.T. guy that gives technical advice!

The Local Business Clinic meet on the first Tuesday of every month. We meet at The Station House in Burnham on Crouch from 5-7PM.

The clinic is a relaxed environment for business owners to get together and network and meet other local business owners. We also have a consultation room for anyone who would like to ask a question or seek help in a more quiet/confidential manner.

The clinic is designed to help support local businesses. All too often the sole trader world can be both daunting and lonely, so what better way to cure this than to meet others in the same boat. Our clinics are completely free of charge and we hope to see lots of local businesses making use of this service. It’s a drop in clinic so no need to hang around if your short on time. We just look forward to meeting you.

The Local Business Clinic now also has a NEW online directory!!!

To enhance our monthly clinic meetings we have now launched an online directory. For a small monthly subscription of just £3.50 payable via PayPal you’ll receive a business online profile listing on our new website promoting your business. (Freedom to cancel at any time).

The website will be aimed at our local area. There will be a home page with information about our clinics complete with Facebook feed, a section for blogging, events page so subscribers can display their event posters/details, a section for subscribers to advertise job vacancies, Q&A and ask the experts help section and of course the online directory itself where you can display your ads. All those subscribed will also receive exclusive FREE Facebook advertising via our our TLBC page and group within our local community.

Our vision is to bring a community together. We feel our area seriously lacks affordable advertising options for local businesses. We also want to help locals with having a central hub where they can find local reliable trades and keep afloat of what our area has to offer. Combining this with the all important Social Media advertising and our Monthly clinics we hope we can be #StrongerTogether !

We intend to be able to give back to our community as much as we can. Which is why on launch day we intend to pick one lucky subscribing business to receive 150 free flyers to help get their New Year off to a flying start.

The official directory part of the website will launch on 1st January 2017 but we need the subscriptions in beforehand to get the profiles created and loaded. So please all sign up on the website now to ensure your business is included in time for the launch. Once subscribed online you’ll receive a confirmation email from us asking for the information required for your advert.
